Welcome to Honeywood Primary School
Our website offers a window into our school offering useful information for both prospective and current families.
It is a pleasure and privilege to be appointed as Foundation Principal of this wonderful school. Honeywood PS opened in the suburb of Wandi in two stages. Stage one housed in transportable buildings opened in 2017 for Kindergarten and Pre Primary students. Stage two followed in 2018 for students from Kindergarten to Year 6. We are excited to be working in such wonderful new facilities.
Honeywood is an Independent Public School and will work closely with a supportive, enthusiastic community eager to assist in setting up a school of excellence where children can be the very best they can.
We have worked hard to assemble a strong diverse team of teachers and support staff to give our school the strength and unique flavour that will distinguish it as a school of choice in the area. Our aim is to assist all students to achieve their potential and to flourish. In fact our school motto is... Through learning we flourish.

At Honeywood PS we value the whole child acknowledging that academic, social, emotional and physical pursuits must be evenly addressed. We believe that knowing our students individually, culturally and developmentally is as important as knowing the content we teach and that relationships are the key to success. Forming connections with our students and their families is vital for long term success.
Our students success is our success. To achieve these aims, we maintain a safe and open environment where clear and frequent communication with you, the primary educators, is encouraged. A school’s success relies heavily on the support of parents who constitute a P&C Association and a School Board. Both these organisations aim to gain your support and opinions on how we are functioning.
